Project Description:

Eagle River Watershed Council is collaborating with the owners of Rancho del Rio to help restore riparian habitat by designating river access points to the Colorado River and planting native seed.

Rancho del Rio is a beloved river-community hub that is packed throughout the boating season. Sections of the banks are being badly eroded due to undesignated river access. The erosion causes safety concerns for guests and water quality and aquatic habitat degradation due to increased sediment entering the river.

We are seeking volunteers to help build fencing to close unwanted access points and plant native seed to prevent noxious.

How to volunteer:

Please register by June 6 using the link below. Volunteers should be at least 10 years of age. You will be asked to complete a waiver at time of registration. Details (where to meet, what to bring, etc.) will be sent to the email address you provide.
